We print our images directly onto surface-treated 18 mm thick multiplex multilayer wood. There is a white border (passe-partout) around the outside, as shown in the product image. With direct printing on wood we don’t need a frame around it. We also do not need an extra passe-partout and a glass pane to cover. In terms of price, we are catching up with pictures printed on paper with a frame and glass pane or pictures with a stretcher frame.
On the outside you can see the beautiful finished profile of the multi-layer wood, which gives the picture a valuable overall impression.
A hole for hanging is already milled into the back. Also included is a dowel and a screw. If you want to hang the picture on a wall, all you have to do is drill a hole with a 6 mm drill, insert the dowel, screw in the screw and hang up the picture. In the case of wooden substrates, for example, the dowel is not required. You can pre-drill with a 4 mm drill, but you don’t have to. Finally, you attach the screw to the desired position and hang up the picture.
